Sony world student focus award and corn exchange exhibit

I found out yesterday my image had been chosen to be submitted for the Sony world student focus award. SO happy about that, and although it’s unlikely it will get much further it’s an achievement for me to have had it selected in the first instance 🙂

This is great news on top of discovering last week that two of my images have been chosen for the RBS wild hearts charity calendar.

Additionally I am putting together 6 prints for a 1 month exhibition at the Corn Exchange in Manchester along with some fellow students.

The location is great – an old sweet shop facing next in Manchester City Center which is a great central location and especially busy this time of year due to the Christmas markets directly in front.

The wall plaques are limited as we made a decision to all follow the same format as to have consistency in all the displays

I will be showing 6 images from this series printed 12×16 and mounted in slim black frames.

I have ordered some business cards with an image also from this series on to compliment the images that will be on display

I have also been approached by MITIE security to put together a charity calendar so i’ll be working on this over the next fortnight also.
