Elevator pitch

For this weeks session we were all encouraged to think about our work in context and practice an elevator pitch as though we were explaining our practice to someone who could potentially exhibit or publish our work, give us a job and or be interested in collaboration.

This session was really useful in terms of reflecting on our own practice and trying to consolidate the key themes into a short snappy – to the point yet informative paragraph that could be reeled off in order to get the attention of someone important.

After this session I have been thinking about the need for an artists statement which is concise and informative without babbling on and on in too much detail and potentially losing the interest of someone important.

This is another objective I have concluded would be beneficial to set myself on my PDP.
